I’m writing this in a state of shock and excitement because I don’t think I’ve felt a drop of rain for 3 whole days in a row. Please lord of the golfing gods, long may this continue!
Congratulations to Calvin Williams, Gary Cooper, Scott Callaghan and Jordan Graham for winning the Hagley Open AM/AM 2023 with 110 points. A clear 5 points from 2nd place. Impressive performance! The results sheet can be found in club documents or here:
together with prize amounts which will be available in the pro shop in the very near future.

I’ve attached the 2’s sheet but this one was run by the professionals so I’m not sure how much each one was worth. Obviously the guys in the shop can help you out here.
HAGLEY 6’s IS BACK!
Hagley 6’s is back a week on Sunday! The early sheet goes live up the club tomorrow evening as usual and we’ve tweaked the format slightly.
The whole idea of the day is to have fun and a beer or two whilst were playing a bit of golf. It’s an individual event but get yourselves a fourball together so you can play against your mates. 12 o clock shotgun start, Bank holiday Sunday, 28th May. After 18 holes we’ll determine who gets into the top 8 who will then have a live draw, shoot out, in front of everyone else, nearest the pin to decide the winner.
Music, Bar, BBQ and mates on a bank holiday Sunday. £10 entry buys you entry to the competition, a cheeseburger off the BBQ afterwards and a beer. We’ve put a fair bit into this and it should be a great day. Your support, as always, is hugely appreciated. Sheet goes live online at 9am on Thursday morning.
