The Hagley Golf Club has a thriving Senior’s section with over 100 members playing with those of similar age.

Thriving senior's section

The section is open to all male members of 55 or more years, and is fully integrated with the Men’s Golf Section.

Heritage

Formed in 1987 at the instigation of the Chairman of the Golf Club, Roy Savin, the section has gone from strength to strength, organising many midweek competitions as well as playing friendly matches against other local clubs.

Success

Building on the success of The Hagley Seniors Open, the section also hosts a Seniors Mixed Open and Am-Am, again for players over 55 years of age.

Fellowship & Friendship

Whilst offering opportunities for competitive golf, the raison d’etre of the section is to promote fellowship and friendship.
