Competitions News 2024/25 – Captains Drive-In

Here we go again, the start of a new golfing competitions calendar at Hagley Golf Club.
So, we’ve made some slight tweaks again to the competitions for 2024/25, most notably the David Bird Singles Knockout Competition will now become the Graham Yardley Trophy. We have also slightly altered the format for the opens for this year which we will let you know about in due course.
The early sign in sheet for the Captains Drive-In, Sunday 3rd March, 9.30 shotgun start, piars betterball, opens in the clubhouse tomorrow night, Club Night. Why not come up the club, take advantage of a couple of the clubhouse specials and guarantee your place in the comp. Also get your guesses in for how far Neil can smash it up the fairway.
We still have spaces available for presentation night. Personally I think £20 for a 2 course meal and a brilliant after dinner speaker is an amazing deal. Please get your names down and pay for your tickets behind the bar. Also, if you’re due to collect a prize, please let me know asap whether you will be attending or not. mattgreaves@sky.com
