Competitions News 6th March 2023

Looks like we’re back in full swing (forgive the pun).

Thanks to all those who attended presentation evening last week. Hopefully you all enjoyed yourselves, picked up a few prizes and enjoyed a beer or two. For those who were not able to make it but would still like to collect their award, please contact me on to arrange a suitable time to pick up.

Thanks everyone for putting your names down for Gold Cup Day. We’ve got plenty of people playing and therefore, hopefully, plenty of people staying up the club for the afternoon for a few drinks and a good laugh. Please remember the clubhouse cannot open any earlier than 7.30. If you would like breakfast on the morning before the competition, please pre-book your fry up before the day to avoid disappointment.

This Weeks Competitions – Snow Allowing…

The first midweek medal of the year is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday 7th March. Remember it’s a self sign in comp so just turn up at a time that’s suitable for yourself (and a marker, obviously!) sign yourself in using the PSI screen in the changing rooms and go out and tear the course up.

The Ladies military 2 step (9 hole competition) is on Wednesday morning and also the Mens, Bill Evitts Texas Scramble on Sunday with a few spaces still left.

Thanks everyone for your support (Well done Alan Davies, Roy Sims’ partner in the Captains Drive-In!)
