Course draining update
Please click in the link attached to see the work that is being carried out on the fairways in respect of our winter drainage programme.
Please note, there has been a change to the programme schedule. The 15th fairway will now be worked on on Wednesday, 24th August and the 18th fairway will be started on Thursday 25th August.
The attached video shows the completed works at present. The channels now evident on the fairways have been over seeded and will, in time, repair fully. As you will no doubt be aware, any help that we can offer to protect these areas when navigating the fairways would be appreciated and will help the grass to germinate as quickly as possible.
If your ball lands on one of these channels, please take relief from these areas, under no penalty. Nearest point of relief, no nearer the hole. If you can avoid rolling trolleys over or treading on these areas, please do so to help the course repair as soon as possible.
Also included in the video clip is an amount of spoil from the drainage operation which is currently situated behind the 9th green. This is for a future project and will be fenced off and screened shortly.
