Course Update

Although the weather is relatively dry the greens team still have to ensure the course is cleared of dew each morning. The greens in particular require daily swishing and/or brushing to prevent mosses and disease from setting in. This along with continued spraying of additives and water repellent agents has enabled the greens team to keep the putting greens in great condition for the time of year.

Another challenge at this time of year is the leaf fall across all areas of the course. Fortunately the Ventrac mower has a blower attachment that many of you will have seen in action lately. Every day the Ventrac has been out clearing the main playing areas of the course as well as around the Club House. Again this clearance allows the greens team to properly mow and maintain these areas once cleared of leavse and debris.

Over the past few weeks the greens team have been busy working on the first of the planned bunker redevelopment projects for the 2024/25 program. As you can see from the gallery below the bunker on the left of the 2nd green is now taking shape really well. In addition to the reshaping work the team have also ensured the drainage in and around the the area of bunker has been improved.

We hope the weather stays kind and you all can enjoy a great golfing week.
