Course Update
Thanks to the recent mix of rain and sunshine the course has remained in good condition and with the forecast being for more fine weather we hope the you can all enjoy the good playing conditions well into autumn.

The work on the paths around the back 9 is continuing and it is hoped the 15 hole route (holes 1-13, 17, 16 & 18) will be prepared with base materials and safe to use by the end of October. As the work has progressed well it has been agreed the paths will be extended to include holes 14,15 and 16 during the winter course work for 2026/27. This means we will have an 18 hole path route by the start of the 2027 season. More information on this and the 15 hole route for this autumn winter will be shared in future Course Updates.

Finally, we have a very important point to raise regarding footwear in winter months, particularly in wet conditions. As grass accumulates where mowing has been done and if we get muddy areas its really important you consider the traction your footwear provides. We strongly recommend you have some type of soft spike on your shoes in these conditions. The moulded soles on many shoes are great in the summer but may not be the best in the winter months. To help you keep your shoes clean and spikes clear whilst on the course the greens staff have now placed shoe brushes by the 5th and 14th tees.

We hope you have a great week on the course.
