Course update
Following a very good spell of weather over Christmas and into New Year winter has now affected the GC. As many of you will have experienced, and the pictures below describe, snow and freezing temperatures have combined to close the course and affect the driving range. Being on higher ground makes the GC more susceptible to these weather conditions.



We very much hope the forecast of a slight increase in temperatures leads to a thaw that enables the course to reopen soon. It is really important that we allow the ground on the golf course to fully thaw before play resumes. This is largely because of the potential for damage caused by root shear if play begins too soon.
