Course Update
It has been a long few weeks and we really appreciate your patience as the weather affects the course. The green keeping team continue to do whatever they can to give you the opportunity to play and ensure the course is presented the best it can when it is open. They, like you all, cannot wait for a dry spell. This will give them the opportunity to use the larger mowers and bring some definition back onto the course getting it into shape for the season ahead.
In the meantime the maintenance and development work continues with;
- 10th steps and pathway with new drainage for run off
- Greens maintenance with aeration and hand mowing
- Tree clearance/chipping and stump grinding to tidy up those trees removed last year too
As soon as conditions allow the team will begin the next round of bunker refurbishment on the RHS of the 11th green. Then move across to the fairway bunkers on 14th.
Hopefully the next few days provides us with a chance to get some momentum and the pre-season course preparation can get into full effect. We’ll update you again soon with an update on this important work.
