Course Update – Storm Goretti
As pictured in the gallery below, yesterday’s storm has left a lot of snow around the GC. This means the course and range will be closed tomorrow, Saturday 10th January. The greenkeepers have been hard at work to clear the drive and around the Club House. Before the storm they were also doing a lot of clearance work of trees, bushes and drainage ditches around the course too.
We hope the driving range might reopen at some point on Sunday. The course is going to depend upon the rapidity of the thaw that’s now forecast through Sunday afternoon into Monday. The quantity of snow lying on the course means there will be a lot of saturated ground for a short time during the initial thaw. As ever we will try to get the course open as soon as possible and update you daily on the Club V1 app.
