May I take this opportunity to congratulate our Worcester Handicap League team for advancing all the way to the final but, unfortunately, falling at the final hurdle and losing to Gaudet Luce 3.5 – 2.5.
Topping the league table, and formidable performances in the quarter final against Ombersley followed by another win against Bromsgrove in the semi’s meant that a strong show was on display from all the players involved throughout the season.
Thanks to all those who took part and also to Ian Chambers for running the team.
Well done chaps. The trophy has our name on it next year!
