Christmas Draw 2023
It’s back!
After a break for a few years the Pro Shop Christmas Draw returns.
Numbers are available in the shop and there will be lots of fantastic prizes;
1st Driver Fitting worth up to £550
2nd Scotty Cameron Putter
3rd Titleist StaDry Cart Bag
4th Sunderland Waterproof Suit
5th Taylormade MG4 Wedge
6th-10th prizes TBA
Numbers cost £2 each, 6 for £10 or 13 for £20
There will be a donation made to the Captain’s Charity with all other takings paid out in prizes.
The draw will take place on Sunday 31st December.

Work around the course continues
The team have continued to work hard on both course maintenance and development. The extra Ventrac enabled mowing and blowing of many areas of the course that would normally have been unreachable prior to its purchase. Hand mowing of tees and greens has been made easier as the additional Ventrac is also used to transport the hand machinery safely across the course too.
As the images above show development, as well as maintenance work, around the course has progressed well this week too. Irrigation and root barriers have been installed on the right side of the 1st tee. A new winter mat has been placed on the 18th and the shoe cleaner repositioned adjacent to the 9th green and practice putting green. Weather permitting work around the putting green and 1st tee will continue next week. The scheduled completion date of mid-December remains unchanged.
Foresight bay nights starting first week in December
It has been great to see so many GC members enjoying the Foresight Bays. From w/b 4th December Dan and Tom in the Pro Shop will be running regular Foresight Bay challenges, offering fitting and coaching advice too. There will be spot prizes for great shots and the odd lesson voucher available for not so good!
Remember GC members can use the Foresight Bays at no extra charge this winter (from now until 31st March 2024). With your GC members discounted range balls that’s just:
£4.50 for 50 balls
£5.50 for 75 balls
£6.50 for 100 ball
